Bike Track Opening

Today our new bike track was opened. Ms Driver gave a speech and Mrs Venville cut the ribbon. After that, Mrs Venville led one representative from each class around our new track. Blake represented Room 18...Ka pai Blake!

Celebrating Diwali

Today we celebrated Diwali. Aayush dressed up in his kurta. His Mum came in her salwar kameez. 

Mrs Nagpal drew a rangoli pattern on a table and we added coloured powder to the pattern. 

Vibrant colours, spectacular and breath taking result!

Grandparents reading to us

We were very lucky to have seven grandparents in Room 18 to read to us today. A big thank you to Kaya's Nana, Ben's Granny and Poppy, Arlo's Nana, Roman's Papa, and Caprice's Nana and Gam!

Water Safety at Lloyd Elsmore Pool

Last week at The Field of Dreams Swimming Programme we had a lesson on water safety. We learnt that when you make a huddle you keep safe warm and together while waiting to be rescued.

Daffodil Day

Room 18 dressed in mufti clothes for Mufti Day. We raised $32 for the Cancer Society...thanks everyone!

Cherry Blossom Art with Miss Han

This week we really enjoyed our Mandarin lesson with Miss Han. We used black ink and blew on it to create a tree shape. Next we added blossoms.  Our pictures looked very attractive when we had completed them.
