Millennium Centre Trip

Excited Room 18 and Room 19 are ready to slide into the clear, sparkling, cold water at the AUT Millennium Centre.

Clever Toia used her paddle correctly to move forwards(pulling) and backwards(pushing). The instructors were Craig helped by Alex.

 Max, Emily and Blake are preparing to fall backwards off the boat in the Water Safety session with Julie.

 James, Kiera, Blake,Emily, Caleb, Max and Sonia are at Team Building with Jacob.

 Rylee, Caleb, Roman, Natasha, Sammy and Aayush are in their snorkel masks learning how to snorkel with Sarah.

Chinese New Year

Room 18 have enjoyed learning about The Chinese New Year. Today we attended a Lion Dance in the hall and made Chinese Lanterns. Thank you to Cassie, Caprice, Kiera and Bella who wore their Chinese costumes to school. Some of Room 18 will attend the Lantern Festival at The Auckland Domain this weekend.

Room 18's Treaty

Room 18 have been learning about the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi in 1840. We had a holiday to celebrate Waitangi Day on 6 February. Waitangi Day is a special public holiday for all New Zealanders.

Music lessons available after school

Sean and Jordan teach a variety of musical instruments after school. This week they showed us the instruments we might like to learn to play.
