This term we visited Te Tuhi to make NZ Art Works and to view the exhibition about N.Z. We made pieces of work with letters to make our statement:
AOTEAROA A SPECIAL PLACE TO LIVE.
We added NZ symbols to our art.

TeTuhi Art Trip
This week we visited Te Tuhi to make etching artworks representing New Zealand. Salome gave us instructions to make an artwork using the letters of our sentence, AOTEAROA A SPECIAL PLACE TO LIVE. Our finished works are displayed in our classroom.

Principal's Award to Aayush.
Today we had an ANZAC Assembly to remember the soldiers from New Zealand and Australia who fought in World War 1. We congratulated Aayush who makes so many positive contributions to our class, especially with his expertise in Technology. Aayush is also proud of his learning achievements. Ka Rawe Aayush!

Census 2019 in Rm 23: Here we are measuring ourselves in a variety of ways.
On Monday afternoon we went to Mrs Madden's Maths Room to complete some measuring activities:
- Our height
- The circumference of our wrist
- The length of our right foot
- The circumference of our left thumb
- School bag weight
- How long we could balance on our left foot with our eyes closed
